About God
We believe there is one God, eternally existing as the Trinity of three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

References: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:18–20

About Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. He was born of a virgin, was crucified for the sins of the world, and resurrected on the third day. He will return in power and glory.

About the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit teaches, comforts, and empowers us, giving each follower of Jesus diverse gifts for serving in the church and serving others in the world. It is through the Holy Spirit that we grow in faith, developing integrity and Jesus-like character. The Holy Spirit is the One who gives new life to the unbeliever through the ministry of conviction and regeneration.

About the Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, the final authority for all faith, practice, and discipline.

References: 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

About People
We believe that people are created in God’s image and made to live in relationship with him. Through the original disobedience of Adam, all mankind is captive to sin and in need of restoration to relationship with God.

References: Genesis 1:26–27, 3:1–7; Romans 5:12–21

About Salvation
We believe salvation comes by faith alone in the atoning death of Christ. This salvation includes peace with God through the forgiveness of sin, the gift of Christ’s righteousness, and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers until the day of redemption.

References: Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5

About the Church
We believe that the Church is the universal and global Body of Christ that is expressed in the local gatherings of believers. The local church exists for the purpose of worship, teaching, and community, as well as to serve and reach others with the hope and love of Jesus. There are two ordinances to the church: water baptism (by immersion) and the Lord’s Supper (communion).

References: Matthew 16:16–19; Ephesians 1:22–23; Acts 2:41–47

About Future Things
We believe in the personal and imminent return of Jesus Christ. He will judge the nations and restore all things to God’s original intent. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all; the believer will be raised to everlasting life with the Lord and the unbeliever will be raised to judgment apart from the presence of the Lord. The culmination of all things will be God making all things new; paradise regained and flourishing without sin and death. A new heaven and a new earth, all things restored through Christ.
